APPLICATION AND ASSESSMENT

1. CREATIVE WORK. Propose a program in school or community that will raise the
awareness of the students and to help eliminate sexually transmitted diseases
especially among the youth.
Answer:
PROGRAM: SYMPOSIUM “Be educated, avoid being transmitted”
PURPOSE: To educate the youth regarding sexually transmitted disease and promote
the intervention of these disease in order to provide a better future for the generations
ahead.
Sexually transmitted diseases are infections passed from one person to
another through sexual contact. These diseases are major health problems that affects
young people worldwide due to negligence and lack of prevention. These kill thousands
of people across the globe yearly and in order to promote awareness regarding these
diseases, I would like to propose a program that entitles, “Be educated, avoid being
transmitted”.
This program is a symposium that could feed the minds of the youths is
understanding the context of sexually transmitted diseases. Health is one of the most
fundamental part of life. Through understanding what sexually transmitted diseases are,
youth could be aware of the effects of engaging is sexual activities, be cautious of their
actions and provide information that they can share to others so that cases of these
disease will not grow in numbers. It could also encourage the youth to prevent the
practice of premarital sex. The youth should focus on their dreams and set aside
activities that could hinder them from reaching their dreams.
Through awareness and imparting knowledge to others, we could help create
a better world for the present and future generations. Diseases are effects of or poor
health management, bad habits and lack of information. Therefore, we must contribute
in changing our society through the help of our knowledge.
2. AGREE or DISAGREE. Are you in favor of legalizing marriage among
homosexuals and transgenders? Why?
Answer:
I disagree in the idea of legalizing marriage among homosexuals and transgender yet,
I am in favor of legalizing their partnership because they are also human that seek to
love and to be loved. However, if we base on biblical context, it is prohibited for the
same sex to be married because it is against on the will of our God. Though, in my
opinion, legalizing the partnership of homosexuals and transgenders should be
pursued but not marriage because it is a sacred thing to do. In respect to our LGBT+
friends, I am not against on their gender identity nor their decision to be a legalized
couple, however being accepted in the society is what most important and I think
acceptance is enough to be given attention.
