The Steps for installing Windows7 OS

Step1: Insert Windows 7 DVD into your DVD drive and Windows 7 Dialog box will be loading.

Step2: Select Language to Install as English, Time and currency format as English(United States),
Keyboard or input method as US. Then click Next.

Step2: Click 'Install' Button


Step3: Select 'I Accept the license terms' and click Next

Step4: Choose 'Custom (advance)' that you want to install a Windows7.


Step5: click Drive options (advanced) to make the partitions and then click Next.

Step6: Click New for making a new partitions


Step7: Make Drive size is 51200 MB and Click Apply

Step8: Click 'OK'


Step9: Click Next

Step10: Wait for Installing Windows to progress. Your computer might be restarted during the process.
Step11:Type Machine name or User name and click Next. It will automatically fill up the computer
name.

Step12: If you want to set a password, type it and click Next.


Step13: Type your product key and click Next. You can also skip this step and simply click Next if
you want to type the product key after finish the Windows7 installation.

Step14: Choose 'Use recommended settings'


Step15: Set up your Time zone and Make sure that the date and time are corrected then click Next.

Step16: Installation completed. Windows7 Gets display


Step17: Type 'Computer Management' on windows start 'Search box' then press 'Enter Key' for
Managing the drive

Step18: Choose 'Disk Management' and Click right button of mouse on DVD drive volume and
Choose 'Change Drive letter and paths' for changing Drive name to 'E:\'
Step19: Click Change

Step20: Select Drive letter name 'E' and Click OK


Step21: Click Yes

Step22: Click Right button of mouse on Unallocated partitions Volume and Choose New Simple
Volume for Adding another Drive
Step23: Click Next

Step24: Click Next


Step25: Select Drive letter name 'D' and Click Next

Step26: Click Next


Step27: Click Finish
SKANC related Software Installation:

Step1: After complete the windows7 OS installation then follow the steps and finish installation.

Step2: Install Dot net framework version 3.5 and 4.0

Step3: Install Audio for AIMB-581 folder → R260 → 6363_pg321_R20_Win7_Vista_Xp → double


click on Setup.exe

Step4: Install INF for AIMB-581 folder → Intel Chipset Software 9.2.0.1030 → infinst_autol
→ double click on Setup.exe

Step5: Install LAN for AIMB-581 folder → Rel6.4OEMGenPV_244265 → double click on


AutoRun.exe

Step6: Install Kappa Camera folder → AFS2 → double click on Setup.exe

Step7: Install Kappa Camera folder → CAT3 → double click on Setup.exe

Step8: Install Kappa Camera folder → SDK 4 LumaCam GigE → Windows → H3XR → bin → 32bit
→ KobraManager → double click on KobraManager.exe

Check Jumbo Packet is enabled:- Go to Control Panel → Network and Internet → Network
and Sharing Center → Change adapter settings → Local Area Connection 2 → right click
properties → kappa GigEVision Filter Drivers → configure → yes → Advanced → Jumbo
packet (select maximum 9014 bytes in Value).

Step9: Install ME driver _ NA folder → CPT_5M_7.1.13.1088 → Installers → ME_SW_IS →ME_SW_IS


→ double click on Setup.exe

Step10: Install NEC USB30_uPD720200 Driver → driver → double click on RENESAS-USB3-Host


-Driver-21190-setup

Step11: Install VGA for AIMB-581 folder → 03.Win 7 → Win7VGA Driver 8.15.10.2321→ WinVista7
→ double click on setup.exe

Step12: Install SQL server → SQLEXPRADV_x86_ENU.exe


(*SQL server instance name as localhost by default)

Step13: Install Java (.jre latest version)

Step14: Change System power option setting for monitor


Go to Control Panel → Hardware and Sounds → Power Option → Choose when to turn off
the display → make both turn off the display and put the computer to sleep to never → Save
changes

Step15: System date Should be in MM-dd-YYYY format.

Step16: Connect camera to Local Area Connection (Intel(R)82583V Gigabit Network Connection2
(Enable jumbo frames to 9014 Bytes)
Step17: To find the Remote Desktop Connection shortcut, click the Start button, click All Programs
or Programs, and then click Accessories.
To quickly open Remote Desktop Connection, open the Start menu, and then type mstsc in
the Search box. Enter the System name you want to connect and also system password. and
set Computer properties → Remote Settings → Select allow remote connections to this
computer → Click OK.

Step18: Copy 'SKANC' Application folder to 'D:\' Drive

Step19: Restore SKANC Database to SQL Server

Step20: Install CAN USB Drivers, Go to USB-Driver folder → LPC17xx_Driver → double click on
lpc17xx-vcom.inf

Step21: Check if windows7 OS Product Key is activated with Genuine Logo in Computer
Properties otherwise, it should be activated the product key of Windows7 OS.
