Government Polytechnic Washim was established by Government of
Maharashtra on 9th May 1982. to promote technical education in rural Dr. V. R. Mankar
areas of Maharashtra with civil engineering program and subsequently (Principal)
added another five streams of engineering in phases. The Institute is G.P. Washim
affiliated to the Maharashtra state board of technical education.
(MSBTE) It has excellent Industry Institute Interaction with more than
24 MOUs with an array of industries. Institute provides very good CONVENER
opportunities of industrial trainings to the students and has a well
developed training and placement policy in place. Institute conducts Mr. A.P. Matale
baseline tests for first year students to identify their weak areas in basic HOD (Mech. Engg)
sciences and mathematics and assist them to bring them at par with the
others. Also it has excellent faculty most of whom most are PhDs and
ME/M.Tech and are dedicated ones. It generates healthy amount of
CO-ORDINATOR
IRG to the tune of rupees 25 lakhs annually. It has Unnat Maharashtra
Abhiyan and PMKVY schemes implemented to uplift the lives of rural Mr. A. B. Tatte (LME) (9423649319)
populace. It has a vibrant and thriving student community which
regularly participates in blood donation, tree plantation, cleanliness ORGANIZING COMMITTEE
campaign, technical exhibitions, paper and project competitions, sports Mr. K. P. Joshi (LME)

RULES & REGULATIONS SCHEDULE OF QUIZ
1. Only 3 rd year Mechanical engineering and Automobile Engineering group students of institute affiliated to
MSBTE & Autonomous Polytechnics will be allowed to participate in the event.
2. The Quiz will be conducted in MCQ Pattern (50 Questions)
3. Students should submit the quiz within scheduled date & time, then only it will be considered for evaluation.
4. Students scoring more than 50% marks will get E- certificate within a week on their email.
