 HikCentral is compatible with our entire line of Hikvision products
including DVRs, NVRs, IPCs, PTZ and dome cameras, transmission
displays, traffic products, thermal products, data centers, CVRs,
CENTRAL EZVIZ products, and access control products. It offers features such
as automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) and people-counting,
and integration with access control (coming soon). HikCentral also
supports the ONVIF protocol for integration with other camera brands,
making it a competitive solution that can satisfy your unique needs
and meet your security challenges.

HikCentral is a video business intelligence (VBI) solution that provides

features such as facial recognition, face matching and searching, and
people counting analyses. By extracting valuable information from a
COLLABORATIVE database and generating reports to assist your business operations,
as well as integrating with acc ess control, entrance & exit automation
with ANPR, and alarm management, HikCentral offers you an intelligent
solution that improves efficiency and reduces cost.

HikCentral supports the ONVIF open standard. It’s compatible with most
mainstream brands and IP cameras with ONVIF support. It supports
third-party proprietary protocols of the leading camera manufacturers,
INTELLIGENT with continuous updates. HikCentral also offers an OpenSDK that
allows users to develop add-ons on a web client. Such add-ons can be
used to integrate with third-party systems.

 WHAT IS HIKCENTRAL?
HikCentral is a self-owned software platform developed by Hikvision. It aims to advance the central Video
Management System (VMS) to integrate related hardware to implement highly effective delivery, with VMS
preloaded on standard off-the-shelf servers.

HikCentral represents a new brand of video surveillance by Hikvision. The related subsystems help our
customer implement various applications across all vertical markets.

Advanced Functions of HikCentral
Hikvision’s HikCentral Solution combines products, technologies and functionalities that make central
control of security systems easy, efficient and unified.

Based on a client-server model, it’s a solution that offers enterprises a video management service that
helps run your daily business, including video recording and playback, alarm management and configuration,
Smart Video Wall, ANPR, user authorisation and access, facial recognition, SAN and cloud storage.

Using the Remote Site Management (RSM) module, HikCentral can be easily scaled up to a system network
of 100K cameras allowing you to centrally manage and configure system resources, user authorisations and
event alarms.

With high scalability, a fail-safe design and sound data protection for tremendous amounts of information,
HikCentral is your central security system.

The real genius of this highly sophisticated system, however, is found in its ease of use. It’s easy to set up

Intelligent Surveillance System

The ever-increasing adoption of AI technology in video surveillance provides valuable features such as facial

suspicious people and vehicles in near real time. With native support of Hikvision’s AI technology and
products, HikCentral provides more value and ensures the smooth upgrade of your video surveillance system.

Heat Mapping
HikCentral generates a useful heat mapping functionality that gradually changes colourful diagrams which
aims to identity the visit frequency of store or relevant shopping area. It is useful for making decisions of
goods placement and for developing a flexible sales strategy.

The focus zoom-in area is to highlight details of the heat map system.

Users can manage resources of remote sites more conveniently. Alarm

notifications show live on GIS map. Unnecessary to configure hot region in an

When in live view, functions can be operated accordingly on map. Nesting maps

Anti-Passback
Sometimes people who have already accessed the
factory entrance guard, can pass their access card
to someone outside, and those people who is not
permitted can swipe other’s card to access into
the factory. By the function “Anti pass-back”, if
the original card holder doesn’t swipe out from the
area, even they pass the card to someone else,
they still cannot access the area by swiping the
access card.

First Card Authorization

Only when the first card is swiped to open the door,
then the other authorized cards can be used to
open the door. In this case, every morning, the
employee can only access the office once some
authorized has entered. (manager, security guy etc.)

Locking All Doors

The administrator can lock/recover all doors with
one-click operation to remotely control both on
control client and mobile client.

4. ALARM MANAGEMENT

Alarm Centre
Alarm centre manages all alarms on the HikCentral Control Client

Arming control of alarms is based on

a series of events which the platform
receives. When armin control is launched,
as infrared radial auxiliary devices, a
complete configuration automatically
triggers the alarm.

Composite Alarm
A composite alarm enables arming or disarming in order to promote the flexibility and accuracy of
alarm management for example, you may composite I/O signal and mobile detective events through
erecting an infrared ejection device to effectively deduct false rate of alarm.

Alarm Escalation
The case of alarm escalation takes place when an original operator does not work. A unprocessed alarm will
be forwarded and escalated to upper level management when the original operator is ignored.
