Community Development Assignment

Community development involves people working together to improve their community. As a student, the author has limited time but would volunteer to help those in need outside their friend group and encourage utilizing available resources and involvement with local organizations. It also helps local businesses struggling against larger competitors by telling friends and family about them, following them on social media, and leaving positive reviews. While helping the community helps others, it also improves one's own neighborhood through small acts like litter picking, gardening, getting to know neighbors, and offering help like shopping or chatting.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Community development is about people working together to make our community better
however as a student my time is very limited to serve in my local community and even given enough
time I would help my community by volunteering to help people outside my circle of friends who are in
badly needs and help them influence in utilizing whatever available resources we have and encourage
them to be involved with local organizations. It is also a big factor if we help local businesses especially
those that are always under pressure from bigger national and multi-national competitors just by telling
your friends and family about those local businesses, follow and support them on social media as well as
living positive review to help them be known and get bigger. while helping community is about helping
other, it is also a great way to help your own neighbourhood by providing a nicer place to live for
everyone by dong small things such as litter picking and gardening or by taking your time to get to know
the people around you and see how can you help them it could be by planning a budget or doing the
food shopping or even just by chit chat, you never know how much a little of your time can help some in
need.
