E.W. Cox Middle East LLC filed a lawsuit against Al Faraa Engineering General Contracting L.L.C. regarding a project in Abu Dhabi. E.W. Cox was the main contractor for the project and Al Faraa was a subcontractor. The initial contract value was 600,000 AED. E.W. Cox terminated the contract in January 2019 due to a disagreement over technical details. Although the contract ended, Al Faraa did not return the 60,000 AED bank guarantee. E.W. Cox is now forced to renew the bank guarantee and pay fees, so they filed this lawsuit to retrieve the funds.
