ORDER :

ln pursuance to the orders issued in the Government Order read above, the
following notification will be published in the Tamil Nadu
Government Gazette:-

NOTIFICATION

ln exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 read with
Article 313 of the Constitution of India and of all other powers hereunto enabling,
the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the
Fundamental Rules and the Instructions thereunder.

2. Amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the
|6'h day of July 2019.
AMENDMENT

ln the said Fundamenfal Rules, jn Annexure-VIl-Executive Instructions


regarding Casual Leave made under ruling (3) under rule 85, under the heading
"11. Special Casual Leave", after rule 13, the following rule shall be added, namely:-

"14. Special casual leave for a period of 10 days shall be granted to a


Government Servant, who js undergoing Chemotherapy or Radiotherapy treatment

(P.T.O.)

for cancer, every time, sfarfu.ng from the day prior to the date of Chemotherapy or
Radiotherapy, over and above the other eligible leave to him, subject to the
production of Medical Certificate from the Medical Officer in-charge of the medical
institution where he has undergone the said treatment"
