1.3.2 Modbus Serial Connection
The Decision-Makerr 550 and Decision-Makerr 6000
controllers use a serial Modbus connection to the
computer.

When making an RS-485 serial connection, the

3.2.3 Connected Device When SiteTecht software recognizes the type of device

3.2.4 USB Connection
The first time a device is connected to the computer

3.3 Access Codes
For SiteTecht versions 2.6 or higher, an access code is
required for connection to devices other than small
residential generator sets, marine generator sets, or the
RSA II. Different codes are used for the following types
of generator sets:

D Lennox models (RGEN12--30)

Software and firmware version numbers consist of three
parts separated by periods (or dots) as follows:

SiteTecht software allows viewing and adjustment of
most ADC IId controller settings.

SiteTecht software version 3.0 or higher is required for


use with the ADC IId controller.

communication with the PC that is connected to the
controller and running SiteTecht software. If the
controller is not powered by the generator set battery, it
may drain the battery on the connected laptop PC.
