 MSWORD is a Word Processing Software.


 Objects – Any non-text element in a word document is called object . eg
Picture, WordArt, Table etc.
 ClipArt are readymade pictures or symbols that can be inserted in a
document .
 Word Art allows us to insert artistic text in a document.
 Table – A Table is a grid of rectangular boxes called cells arranged in
horizontal rows and vertical columns. Tab key helps us to move from one cell
to other.
1 Fill up the blanks
1. Any non-text element in a Word document is called an Object
2. The Clipart images are the ready-made pictures which can be inserted in a
document.
3. When a picture is selected, the rotation handles appear around it.
4. The WordArt feature allows us to insert artistic text in a document.

Select the picture  Click on Format tab  choose the desired effect

5. Explain the use of a wrap text option.


It is used to arrange the gtext around the text in different ways . It helps us to
move picture easily in document.

6. Define WordArt and explain how you would insert a WordArt object in a
document?
WordArt helps us to insert artistic text in a document.
Steps-
Select the position  Click on Insert Tab Click on WordArt button select
WordArt style Type the text.
