-9a = 36

a = -4

-a + b = 6

4+b=6

b=2

So, f(x) = x5 – 4x3 + 2

(1)4 + (1)3 – 3(1)2 + q – 66 = -56

1 + p – 3 + q – 66 = -56

p + q -68 = -56

substitution (i) and (ii)

27p + 3q = -12 x1 27p + 3q = -12

p + q = 12 x 3 3p + 3q = 36 -

24p = -48

P = -2

p + q = 12

-2 + q = 12

q = 14
