Question 1 Which Incoterm would best represent the terms of sale between Kalastaa
and DanskFisk? For what do Kalastaa and DanskFisk each bear responsibility and
charges?

Ans: According to my point of view the incoterm would be the awesome Kalastaa and
DanskFrisk is the ExWork, on the grounds that pick right incoterm for the purchasing and
shipment of merchandise on worldwide exchanging Ex Works 1s an understanding that
increment the purchaser hazard and obligations, so the vender makes accessible the items for
the purchaser at their storeroom Kalastaa would gives need ty in the instalment mode by
thinking about cargo forwarders.

There are numerous other incoterm that we can take in this interaction, DDP incoterm would
likewise be best since it address the deals among Kalastaa and DansFisk. Under DDP
kalastaa Is exporter that pays all expenses. Responsibilities and charges of Kalastaa and
DanskFisk as indicated by Ex Work incoterm are referenced underneath.

Question.2 Which shipping vessels would be most appropriate for Kalastaa to ship their
product to Rotterdam? Explain your choice.

Ans: The following shipping vessels are convenient for Kalastaa to ship their product to
Rotterdam:
 Liners: These are conventional cargo ships use for short and long distances. These
ships can also be specialized. Refrigerated cargo ships use to transport perishable
goods, which require temperature-controlled transportation like meat, fish, milk
products, fruits and vegetables, and other foodstuffs.
 Container vessels: These are the special type of vessels that are used to transport
containers that are stacked one upon one and cand be transported easily.
The type of shipping vessel that we have to choose depends upon the type of fish that we are
going to export. If it is fresh fish and our goal is to deliver quality products to consumers, it
delivers quickly and cost-effectively as possible. Some fish requires additional processing
such as cooling, packing, and canning because it takes weeks on a ship to reach the
destination that is from Kalastaa to Rotterdam. To meet quality and standards it is important.
When we export preserved fish such as fermented, dried, and salted fish then shipping is easy
and does not require cooling during transportation.
I prefer to choose refrigerated cargo ships in liners because fish perishable

Question 3.Describe the purposes for each of the export documents that Kalastaa needs
to provide to secure documentary credit.

Ans: Purpose of documents that Kalastaa needs to provide.


 Payment risk shifts from international buyers to their banks when payment is made
through documentary credit.
 Documentary Credit is like assuring that the company will receive the payment. Bank
of the buyer takes that responsibility.
 Document of title: This will issue by the bank of the buyer to the exporter that they
will complete payment buyer once the buyer received their product.
 Commercial Invoice: This is a request for the payment regarding consignment by the
exporter from its buyer.
 Quality Certificate: This certificate ensures the premium quality of the product and
also confirms the minimum standard quality.
 Insurance Policy: If something happens with the product, like damage or loss,
Company can claim payment for its loss from its insurance provider.

Question 4.Would Kalastaa have benefited from employing a freight forwarder?


Explain?

Ans: Freight forwarders are employed by the organizations to deal the shipments and
logistics on behalf of them and delivers to the destination in time by using ideal methods for
transportation. Kalastaa can use freight forwarders for the following reasons:
 Freight forwarders are the guaranteed organizations that are third party for imports
and exports. They can handle certain documents that are involved in the process and
they save time, money and labour for the service user.
 Employing freight forwarders can resolve the problems such as licensing, taxes and
regulations of the specific destination and they handle all the required documentation
at a specific price depended on the destination and goods that are required to
transported.
 Freight forwarders have good contacts with the relative modes of transport they
transport the goods as quick as possible.
They are capable of handling the goods with ease through the customs and move the products
within the shortest time as possible.

Kalastaa would have benefited by using freight forwarders because they are aware of the
regulations of the country and the requirements of the goods that are transported in to specific
countries.
