Greenwich Time, Time zones, Sunrise, Sunset, duration of Day and Night, Ishtkaal,
Conversion of traditionally recorded birth times, Determining the Ascendants by Modern
and traditional methods, Planetary longitudes, The Horoscope, Bhavas, Cusp of Houses,
Divisional Charts, Saptavargas, Aprakashit Grahas.

Part II : Astronomy relevant to Astrology


The Earth and the Zodiac, Division of Zodiac into Signs and Constellations,The Planetary
systems, Rahu and Ketu, Latitude, Longitude, Equator, Ecliptic, Precession of Equinoxes,
Sidereal and Tropical Zodiacs ,Ayanamsha, Lunar,Solar and Luni-Solar years, Eclipses,
Panchang, Ephemeris, Brief history of Astronomy in India.

Mathematical Astrology & Astronomy

3 periods - Concept of universe, solar system movements of planets in our solar
system. Observation from earth i.e. geocentric , Heliocentric- visions, Daily & yearly,
motion of earth.
2 periods-Concept of time – local time & standard time, solar day & sidereal day –.

3 periods - Concept about Zodiac, equinox, sayana & Narayanan system. Division
of Zodiac & Rashis Nakshdars. Explain what is sidereal Division of Zodiac & Rashis
Nakshtars. Explain what is Sidereal Time.
2 periods - Casting of Ascendant for an Indian place (city)
2 periods - Calculation & planetary position – by log system.
3 periods -“Panchang” – Tithi, Vaar, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karan – Calculation.
2 periods - Vimshotteri dasha calculation
4 periods - Divisional chart – elaborate casting of D-2/D-3/D-7/D-9/D-12/D-

30Hora - concept of 16 vergas is brief.

2 periods - Bhava Kundli- Concept & casting – its uses.


3 periods - Casting of horoscope for foreign cities- Northern & Southern Latitude
2 periods - Concept of Rahu & Ketu- related subject & ‘Eclipse’ – Sun & Moon
2 periods - Aprakashit grahes ( Dhoom adi, Gulika adi etc.)

2 periods - Luni- Solar year “Ashik Maan- and Kshya maas ” How they happen

and What is ‘shudh maas’ & ‘Mal Maas.


3 periods - Left out aspect of Astronomy i.e. retrogression of planets,
Conjunction/ opposition etc
1 period - Yogini Dasha- calculation.

1 period - Casting of horoscope by traditional method. – Ishtkaal etc. conversion of


Ishtkaal into standard time & vice versa.

1 period - Overview of History of Astronomy (important names)

PAPER II
Part I : Predictive Astrology
General introduction, types of horoscope (North Indian, South Indian, Western etc.)
Detailed significations of Planet, Houses and Signs. Nakshatra ( Janam, Sampat, Vipat
etc.). Qualities of 12 lagnas, different type of houses, benific and melific planet, aspects,
PAC formula, Mutual Planetary relationship, Ownership of Signs , Exaltation,
Deblitation, Mooltrikona, Combustion retrogeration, Planetary war etc., Planetary
avastha Benific and Melefic Planet for different Ascendants (key planet according to
BPHS) , Planets in different Houses, Yoga arising in relation to the Sun, the Moon and
the Lagna, Dhan Yogas, Raj Yogas, Mangal Dosha, Neech bhang and Vipreet raj yoga,
DARES formula Lord of the houses placed in all 12 houses, study of Important vargas,
Study of- Bhav/Bhavesh and Karak, application of dasha and gochar. Rashi and nakshatra
gandanta, General rules of judgment of horoscope.

Part II ; General Astrology


Relevance of Astrology, Qualification of an Astrologer. Astrology and Science,
Astrology and Genetics, Astrology and Karma theory, Astrology and Psychology,
History of Astrology in Mythology.
Mythological story of Planets, our heritage and dasha avtar, Samvatsar, calculation of
panchang parameters and their practically use in panchang, gandmool nakshatra,
astrology fate and freewill , Mangal Dosh,

PAPER III
Part I ;Dashas
Calculation of Vimshottari Dasha, Mahadasha, Antardasha and Pratyantardasha,
Calculation of Yogini Dasha, MD/AD/PD, Different types of dasha (Udu-daya-pradeep)
Detailed Interpretation of Vimshottari and Yogini Dasha. Timing of events by using
Vimshottri and Yogini dasha--MD/AD/ PD and Transits in making predictions.

Part II: Transit.


Planetary transits and their effects in respect of all planets, benific and malefic transit,
Transit in relation to the Moon and Ascendant. Timing and Verification of events through
transits, Vedha and Vipreet Vedha, special transit, double transit, use of transit in Sade-
Sati, Moorti Nirnaya.
PAPER IV
Part I: Ashtakvarga
Concept of Ashtakvarga, Bhinnashtakvarga, Prastharashtakvarga Sarvashtakvarga,
Rekhashtakvarga and their casting. Trikon Shodhan, Ekadhipatya Shodhan and
calculation of Shuddhapinda and application of shodhpinda for predicting events.
General Principles of interpretation through Sarvashtaka Varga and Bhinnashtakvarga
of all planets. Ashtakvarga Ayurdayas, Kaksha principles and its applications, importance
of 11th house in ashtakvarga system.

Part II; Muhurta


Muhurta and its importance, variable of muhurta and study of panchang parameters
(Tithi, Vaar, nakshatra Yoga, Karan), Classification and utilization of Tithi, Vaar,
nakshatra Yoga, Karan and Nakshatra for choosing a Muhurta, all types of yogas with the
combination of panchang variables , Chandra/Lagna/Tara shudhhi, study of Shodash
Samsakar. Baan and Panchak, Electional Astrology, Muhurta related with opening of
shop, oath taking ceremony, joining of job, entering to the house, yatra, marriage in
detail.

PAPER V
Part I; Marriage
Assessment of horoscope in respect of marriage, early marriage, late marriage, denial of
marriage, multiple marriages, love marriage, marital discord, and tragic events related to
marriages etc. Types of marriage, Timing of marriage through dashas and transits,
Ashtkoot/ bhav/planet matching of horoscopes for marriage. Use of navamsha and Venus
in marriage, 7th lord in different houses/planet in 7 th house. Study of 1H/2H/4H/5H/7H
and 12 H for marriage. Factors for happy/unhappy married life. Manglik and Mangal
Dosh. Vivah Saham

Part II Children
Promise of Children, delay and denial of children, denial of child due to Curse as per
classic, study of 5H, 9H, Lagna from D-1/D-9/D-7/Karak Jupiter, 5 th Lord/Jupiter in
different houses, study of Beeja sphuta and kshetra sphuta, timing of birth of children
through dasha and transit.

Part II :Astro-Meterology & Mundane Astrology


General Principles with special reference to weather forecasts for India, casting and use
of saptnadi chakra. Use of Chaitra Shukla Pratipada, Solar ingress in Aries, Monthly solar
ingress charts, Charts based on the New Moon and Full Moon in mundane astrology for
predictions , Use of India independence and republic chart for predicting events,
Horoscopes of various countries, Signification of Eclipses specially in earth quake,
casting and use of Koorma Chakra, Sanghata Rashi Chakra,

PAPER II
Part I: Predictive Principles
General principles of judgment of horoscope, Analysis of twelve houses, Use of
divisional charts, Dynamic configuration, Nabhas-Yogas and their applications,
Predicition through Different dashas. Composite approach to predictive analysis.
Application of multiple techniques, Application of Classical Principles. Basic principles
of Conjunction of Planets and conjunction with respect to their lordship also, Two and
more planet conjunction. Complete Laghu Parashari.

Part II Profession
Assessment of Professional promises, timing of the first salary, Planning and choosing a
profession by using concerned divisional chart, Timing and analysis of elevations/ down
falls/ hurdles in profession, Multiple Professions or Vocations. Principles of Self
employment and service.

Part I: Horary
Principles of HORARY Astrology, Use of Tajik Yogas, Queries relating to specific
events like theft, illness, litigation, Travel and traveler, missing person, job, marriage ,
children, Multiple queries, Undisclosed queries, Analysis and application of Classic
“SHAT PANCHA SHIKA”

Part II : Varshaphala
Concept of Varshaphala or Annual Horoscopy, Casting of Annual Horoscope, principles
of Annual Horoscopy, Panchvargiya Bal and Dwadash Vargiabal, Planetary Strength,
Muntha, Dashas: Yogini, Mudda, Patyayani, Lord of the year. Varshesh, Tripataki
Chakra, Tajik Yogas (Ikabal, Induvara, Ithasala, Ishrafa, nakta, yamaya, Manau,

illnesses. Mental illnesses, Eye diseases, Speech diseases, Ear diseases Heart disease,
Cancer and Kidney diseases, miscellaneous diseases like Diabetes, Appendicitis, accident
proness etc.

Part II: Longevity

General Yogas & principles of Longevity determination, Classical principals of


short, Medium& Long Life
1. Defination of aristha and types of aristha.
2. Balarisht combinations and its cancellation, including arisht to parents.
3. All about gandant (Tithi, rashi, nakshtra)
4. Marak dashas, Chhidra grahas, Mrityu Bhag 22nd D/3, 64th D/9,85th D/12.
