VAE Engineering Pvt. Ltd is a manufacturer of Crankpins and some other Automobile
components.

Roles and Responsibilities:


 Customization of Organization unit and its assignment.
 Customization of Master Data and Purchasing documents.
 Customization or change in Automatic Account Determination.
 Condition setup for price determination process.
 Involved in testing activities of different Enhancement.
 Mass updating of master data as well as purchasing documents as per business requirement.
 Worked upon multiple MM related incidents.
 Management report for the daily incoming and closing incidents in project management tool.
 Providing training to end users whenever required

About Client:
Umason’s Auto Compo Pvt. Ltd. is one of the largest manufacturer automotive parts and
accessories. The company offers electroplated tubular components, handle bars, side guards, mild
steel , electrically resistance welded tubes and other related to accessories.
Roles and Responsibilities:
 Prepare business blue print & Define enterprise structure.
 Performed initial testing of problem fixes, change request, enhancements, and new
functionality.
 Responsible for configuring MM objects while integrating with other modules.
 Configured Material masters, Vendor masters, Purchase Info records, Service master.
 Create new material types.
 Configured Release strategy.
 Performed LSMW For Material Master Upload.
 Handling Issue’s in the form of tickets and receiving them to meet on time deliveries on
compliance with the SLA.
 Providing solutions to users in MM and providing configuration changes whenever
required in the following areas.
 Giving expert support and information to the queries raised by the customer while
changing or creating new configuration settings.
 MM End user training provided as and when required.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

 Knowledge of Organizational hierarchy and their assignment.


 Configuration of master data which includes Material master, Vendor Master, Purchase info
Record & Source List.
 Configure and create the new material type, material group and UOM.
 Customization of Purchasing Documents such as PR, RFQ, PO.
 The Procurement Process: Basic procurement and organizational level. Purchase order entry
basics, goods receipts entry basics, invoice entry basics.
 Procurement of stock Materials: Purchase Requisitions, RFQ, Create purchase order with
reference of info records and material valuation basics, stock types, subcontracting and vendor
consignment.
 Procurement of Consumable Materials: Valued and no valued goods receipt, blanket purchase
order.
 Stock transport order (STO) - Intercompany and Intra Company.
 Release procedure for purchasing documents. ( PR & PO )
 Knowledge of Automatic Account Determination and Pricing Procedure
 Inventory management and physical inventory with number range assignment.
 Uploading Material Master, Vendor Master & Initial stocks from Legacy system to SAP for all
plants using LSMW. Mass maintenance.
