Progressive Woman Farmers

Ms. Nabanita Das left her career as a nurse to become a farmer. She started organic farming in 2010 on the land she inherited from her father. Through hard work and utilizing every inch of land, she has developed her farm into a small agri-hub producing a variety of crops, livestock, poultry, fish, and vermicompost. Her annual earnings have increased from Rs. 4,000 to over Rs. 56,000 due to her diversified and efficient integrated farming system approach.

INTRODUCTION: yyAt present her farm has become a small agri-hub with
