2222

Here are some points from the Bible, to help you


understand this vital truth.

Yesterday has been an interesting day. Imagine spending the


whole day seeing the number 2222 — everywhere. Insane right. But
that’s the thing about God, he will talk more times to get our
attention, sometimes a word can be really important. I
knew the numbers were leading me to another mystery to reveal.

After doing some research on the internet, I stumbled on an


interesting picture (see it here https://pin.it/1uXxquk). This
picture showed a key with the scripture Isaiah 22:22. It was then I
got a revelation from the Spirit. The number 2222 represented the
Key of David.

To grasp the spiritual meaning of Isaiah 22:22, we need to first


understand who the prophet was talking about. When we read
Revelation 3:7, it says Jesus Christ has “the key of David.” What
is the key of David?

And to the angel (divine messenger) of the church in Philadelphia
write: These are the words of the Holy One, the True One, He
who has the key [to the house] of David, He who opens and no
one will [be able to] shut, and He who shuts and no one opens.
Revelation 3:7 AMP

Do you know Isaiah 22:22 is the most misinterpreted scripture


you’ll find in the Bible. This is because it’s one of the deepest
truths that’s still a mystery to most Christians. This scripture is
mentioned six more times in the Bible: Job 12:14, Matthew 18:18-
19, Matthew 16:18-19, Revelation 1:18, Revelation 3:7. I know most
of us are familiar with Matthew 16:18-19, where Jesus Christ gave
Peter a new name and mandate.

“And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my
church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will
give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you
bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose
on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:18-19

However, the more you understand what the Keys mean, the more


it stirs your spirit to understand God’s mind on a deeper level. So
What is the Keys of David?

The keys of David is actually the Gospel of Jesus Christ— the Word
of God, Sword of the Spirit.

“A mystery revealed is like a veil being peeled off the eyes of a
believer. Trust me God is funny like that, he loves hide & seek.
It’s for the glory of God to conceal a matter and the glory of kings
to discover them — (Proverbs 25:2) ”

Look at it this way, it’s the good news Jesus Christ brought when


He came to Earth. The good news of His coming to provide
forgiveness of sins for all who will believe. Do you believe that
Christ is the Redeemer and Savior?

Before you can answer that question. Lets get some insight from


Apostel Paul on the Christ’s gospel in Romans 10:9

“because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and
believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will
be saved.” Romans 10:9

One of the ways we confess that Jesus is Lord is by using his


names. Yes, you read right… names — Let’s break down his names.

Jesus — is derived from the Hebrew name Yeshua/Y’shua, which


is the same as Joshua in the Old Testament. The name mean "to
deliver; to rescue".

Christ — comes from the Greek word χριστός (chrīstós), meaning


"anointed one". This term was used to translate the Hebrew word

Messiah, meaning "[one who is] anointed". Being annointed by
God, means Jesus has the powers and authority of a King.

With this understanding of the names, it adds a spiritual


dimension to the term “in the name of Jesus Christ”. We
recognise his divine mandate as Savior and his authority as
Lord/King.

It takes faith to believe something you can not physically see or


touch — neither have you seen or touched. Imagine the thought of
believing Jesus Christ raising from the dead. But ,that’s the key to
true salvation.

For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor


drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually
delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith.
And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own
effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God;

Ephesians 2:8 AMP

Salvation by grace is the substance you experience the favour and


love of God— of the evidence that the Spirit raised His Son from
the Dead.
