Introduction
Being a professional Product Owner encompasses more than writing requirements or
managing a Product Backlog. Product Owners need to have a concrete understanding of all
product management aspects, including but not limited to product ownership, that drives
value from their products.

Professional Product Owner (PSPO) training course is the cutting-edge course for Product
Owners, Agile product managers and anyone responsible for a software product’s success
in the market. In this course, You will develop and solidify their knowledge of being a
Product Owner through instruction and team-based exercises. The breadth of the role’s

Training Contents

Module 1: Agile Product Management

This module explains how agile product management maximizes the value of the
developed product, which is the role of the Product Owner and which benefit it provides
to the organization. Some techniques useful to develop the product business model, value
proposition or strategic alignment are also included. This module will help Product
Owner transform to Product Mindset.

Module 2: Value-Driven Development

The primary job of a product owner, product manager is to increase the value created by
the product for which he or she is responsible. This module focus on how to define and
measure the added value, using a value-driven approach to the product management
which usually beats the traditional budget-driven approach. It also includes some Key
Performance Indicators (KPI) useful in the agile product management. How to help the
product success with the KPI.

Module 3: Scrum Principles & Empiricism

This module introduces the Scrum theory which explains why this framework provides
an effective approach to develop complex products and also for the organizational
improvement. How to prepare and practice in viewer of product owner.

Module 4: Applying The Scrum Framework

This module deepens in the Scrum framework, including the description of its roles,
artifacts, events and rules, and also its values and principles. The content of module will

Module 5: Product Backlog Management

The product backlog is the fuel that feeds the development team, and managing it is one
of the primary roles of the Product Owner. This module deepen in tool and practices
useful to effectively manage the backlog and maximize the value delivered. The module
also guide the Product Owner how to priority the product backlog item, how to working
with business experts, development team to make product backlog management be
effected.

Module 6: Release Management

A release is often the first step to realizing value. This modude present tool and
techniques to plan and track the releases being developed for the customer.
