***NOTE***  Careful  if  you’re  going  to  make  it  as  a  gift  for  a  child  due  to  the  pipe  cleaners  in  
the  limbs.    Also,  disregard  the  white  accent  in  the  black  part  of  the  eye  in  the  picture.  I  
had  to  revise  it  to  make  it  look  better  by  moving  the  white  accent  to  the  blue  iris  of  
the  eye  
 
Materials:  
• Yarn(s)  –  Red  Heart  Super  Save  Spring  Green,  White,  Black,  Turquoise,  Tan/Buff  
• Crochet  Hooks  –  2.25mm  and  Size  3.75mm.  
• Yarn  Needle    
• Polyfill  
• Stitch  Marker  or  Different  color  yarn  
• Black  Felt  and  Fabric  Glue  
• Pipe  Cleaners  or  wires

This  pattern  works  in  continuous  rounds.  Unless  specified,  assume  the  hook  size  is  
3.75Mm.

Eyelids:  
 
Bottom  lid:  
Rd  1:  chain  14,  sc  in  2nd  chain  fron  hook,  sc  all  the  way  til  end  (13  st)  
Rd  2:  chain  1,  turn,  2sctog,  sc  in  next  9  st,  2sctog  (11  st)  
Rd  3:  chain  1,  turn,  2sctog,  sc  in  next  7  st,  2sctog  (9  st)  
Fasten  off  and  leave  tail  to  sew  along  perimeter  of  top  of  eye  
 
The  9sc  part  should  be  align  right  at  the  top  of  the  eyeball  and  the  lid  should  fold  over  the  
eyeball  when  sewn  down.    
 
Top  lid:  
Rd  1:  chain  14,  sc  in  2nd  chain  fron  hook,  sc  all  the  way  til  end  (13  st)  
Rd  2:  chain  1,  turn,  2sctog,  sc  in  next  9  st,  2sctog  (11  st)  
Fasten  off  and  leave  long  tail  to  sew  in  perimeter  of  top  of  bottom  lid  
 

   
 
Mouth  (Use  pictures  for  reference):  
 
1.  Go  about  8  rows  down  from  the  bottom  for  the  right  side  of  the  eye.  See  picture  for  
placement.    
2.  Poke  crochet  hook  through  two  holes  (1  &  2),  yarn  over  and  pull  through.  
3.  Poke  crochet  hook  in  next  2  holes  (2  &  3)  and  do  an  sc    
4.  Continue  working  in  a  semi  circle  pattern  up  to  the  top  of  the  mouth  ,which  should  be  
about  3  rows  down  from  the  bottom  of  the  eye.    
5.  Sc  following  the  design  in  the  pictures  below.    
6.  Once  done,  fasten  off  and  push  ends  into  the  head  to  hide  the  yarn  
7.  Using  white  yarn,  start  from  the  middle  and  do  some  teeth.    
(I  did  2  long  teeth  on  the  sides  and  2  small  ones  in  the  middle)  

 
8.  Using  a  piece  of  black  felt,  cut  the  shape  of  the  top  of  mouth,  making  small  ridges  at  the  
bottom  for  the  teeth.  
9.  Using  fabric  glue  or  thread/needle  to  attach  the  black  felt  inside  the  mouth  making  sure  
that  the  rim  of  the  mouth  (green  sc  from  earlier)  is  over  the  black  felt.    
 

   
 
Horn:  Using  2.25MM  hook  (Make  2)  
Rd1:  3  sc  in  magic  ring  using  tan  color  yarn  
Rd  2:  2sc  in  each  st  (6  st)  
Rd  3:  2sc  in  first  st,  sc  in  next  2  st  *Repeat  all  around  (8  st)  
Rd  4:  switch  to  white  yarn,  sc  in  each  st  (8  st)  
Rd  5:  sc  in  each  st  (8  st)  
Rd  6:  2sc  in  first  st,  sc  in  next  3  st  *Repeat  all  around  (10  st)  
Fasten  off  and  leave  tail  to  sew  

 
    
 
Arm  (make  2):  
Use  about  3”  –  3.25”  of  pipe  cleaner  to  put  into  arms  so  that  you  can  bend  it  into  place  
Rd  1:  8  sc  in  magic  ring  (8  st)  
Rd  2-­‐6:  sc  in  each  st  (8  st)  
Rd  7:  2sctog,  sc  in  next  2  st  *Repeat  all  around  (6  st)  
Rd  8-­‐16:  sc  in  each  st  (6  st)  
Rd  17:  2sc  in  each  st  (12  st)  
Rd  18:  sc  in  each  st  (  12  st)  
Divide  into  3  st  each  for  each  finger.  (4  fingers)  
Thumb/last  finger:    Do  2  rounds  of  3  st,  Leave  tail  to  sew  in  holes  on  sides  of  fingers  
Middle  fingers:    Do  3  rounds  of  3  st.    Leave  tail  to  sew  in  holes  on  sides  of  fingers  
***  Make  sure  you’re  done  stuffing  the  arm/hand  by  the  3rd  finger.    ***  

 
      
 
Legs  (make  2):  
Use  pipe  cleaners  as  wires  in  leg.  Bend  as  shown  in  pictures.  4.25”  long  
Insert  pipe  cleaner  into  legs  as  you’re  working  and  stuff  the  leg  along  the  way.    
 
Rd  1:  6sc  in  magic  ring  
Rd  2-­‐19:  sc  in  each  st  (6  st)  
Rd  20:  Sc  in  front  loops  for  area  behind  ankle  (4)  and  in  back  loops  for  area  in  front    (2)  6  
total  
Rd  21:    2sc  in  first  st,  sc  in  next  2  *Repeat  all  around  (8  st)  
Rd  22-­‐23:  sc  in  each  st  (8  st)  
Rd  24:    2sc  in  first  st,  sc  in  next  3  *Repeat  all  around  (10  st)

Toes:  Divide  in  4  stitches  each  and  work  toes  like  you  did  the  fingers.  Go  2  rounds  each  for  
all  3  toes.    

     
Attach  leg  approximately  3  rounds  from  center.  
 
 
 
 
 

 
Use  white  yarn  to  sew  in  the  toenails  and  fingernails.  Sew  from  the  middle  of  the  front  
of  the  finger  to  about  1  st  in  or  a  few  mm,  however  long  you  want  the  nails  to  be  .
