Greetings from Sapphire International School (SIS), Noida.

On behalf of our faculty and students, let me take the opportunity to present The Lit
Fest 2021 - a bouquet of interschool competitions in the languages of English, Hindi,
Sanskrit, French, and German to celebrate its literatures. The event will be helping
students to think beyond the daily spheres of influence and think of a world beyond
their immediate surroundings. The objective is to inculcate a greater capacity to love
literature and enable the students to push themselves to new standards of
excellence.
The Festival will include theatre, poetry recitation, storytelling, debates and quiz
competitions, the details of which are enumerated in the document attached . Do take
note of the rules and registration requirements.

The Lit Fest is an integral part of the SIS calendar, and the entire Sapphirian
fraternity with the student body leading in the front is looking forward to the
opportunity to interact and network with peers from other schools.

REGULATIONS
All inter school competitions of ‘The Lit Fest’ will be conducted
virtually.
The events are of two categories: recorded and live.
Duly filled Registration form must be submitted by “10th August,
2021” through the registration link
https://forms.gle/ooXhzdoWtgvjdZRT6
The registration should be done by the respective participating
school’s staff only.
Direct entries from individual students will not be entertained.
Schools may choose any number of events to register their
participants.
Each school must designate and register one teacher with their
WhatsApp number and email address. Once the registration is
complete all details of the events will be communicated to the
respective teacher via email.
Confirmation of an institution's participation will be done through the
online registration form only.
Schools are requested to guide their participants to check their
devices for quality of sound, stable internet connection and camera
before they appear for the contest.
Participants should either wear school uniform, with the school logo
concealed or the attire requisite for the event.
Participants will be allowed to join the meeting through registered ID
only.
Participants must join the meeting 5 minutes prior to the given time
on the day of the event.
Participants must keep the camera on throughout the event and it
should be placed in such a manner that the presentation and the
school code of the participant is clearly visible.
The event is spread over two days. Detailed rules and regulations
along with judgement criteria for each competition has been enclosed
for your kind reference.
The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

Participants must create a presentation in the form of

video (without audio) in landscape mode.
Participants will share the video and give voiceover to
it during the competition. Good resolution and sound
clarity should be there.
RULES Maintain decency in choosing the content, any
indecency will lead to disqualification and the
presentation will be stopped midway.
Exceeding time limit can lead to disqualification.
First slide should contain the name of the participant,
class and school code.
