Dear Respondent,

Urja Developers Pvt. Ltd. (Urja) is assessing the status of energy consumption at the household
level in pursuance of understanding the current energy utilization and possible energy wastages
and identifying viable energy-saving measures.

Urja Developers Pvt. Ltd. (Urja) is an emerging holistic solution provider in the hydropower and
renewables sector of Nepal that has embarked on its journey towards becoming one of the
leading multifaceted companies offering a range of services in the renewable energy sector. Urja

Incorporated in June 2016 AD under the Company Act of Nepal, Urja has been able to establish
a portfolio of hydropower projects with a cumulative installed capacity of over 350 MW which
are under various stages of development. By 2030 AD, Urja envisions harnessing 1 GW (1000
MW) hydropower potential in the country in coherence with the plan and policy of the
Government of Nepal.

Urja is seeking your support on this pivotal initiative of Urja in reshaping a sustainable and
energy-efficient community around us. Urja has started this initiative from a household level to
aware each individual and community about the excess energy consumption and implementation
of energy-saving measures to save energy expenses. Your responses and personnel information
would be kept confidential. The collected data will be analyzed and observation/findings will be
used as a tool for evaluating energy efficiency, identifying energy saving prospects, and
establishing a plan to implement energy-saving measures, thereby, inhibiting the future energy
crisis. Therefore, we kindly request you to allocate few minutes to respond to the following
