Article Review; individual assignment (15%)

I General Instructions:

1. Review at least three articles that are conducted in Ethiopia, Europe and Asia (at least one for each
country).
2. Compare and contrast the three countries HRM practices and their difference by taking different
criteria through referring course syllabus of HRM
3. Give a title for your article review report as “Human Resource Management Practices in
Ethiopia, Europe and Asia: Differences and Characteristics”
4. The article review should contain preliminary pages, abstract, main body, conclusion and references.
5. The article critique should not exceed five pages, 1.5-spaced pages with one inch margins and 12 pt
Times New Roman fonts.
6. The critique should be written based on the information provided in class, in the text book, and the
handouts.
7. Articles must be selected from reputable peer-reviewed journals and published within the last 5
years.
8. Each student should select a different article or shall use different criteria to evaluate HRM practices
of each country.
9. The article you choose should have a methods section which involves some form of statistical
analysis (t-test, correlation, multiple regression, chi-square, ANOVA etc.).
10. A sample critique and a copy of the original article should submit to your instructor. You are expected
to follow the style of the article critique in close detail (e.g., title page, running header, page number,
etc
11. In addition to your hard copy, you should email the document on “mikriefekadu1212@gmail.com.
For the Subject of your email type, “Article Critique”.
