Authenticity - the truthfulness and honesty of a message is very essential in every aspect
of communication to build loyalty and genuine engagement. The message we should
convey must always be reliable for them to be able to trust us and communicate with us

Trustworthiness - without the sense of trust with one another effective communication
would not be possible to build good relationships. We must build the trust through
respecting and being honest to the others in order to have openness and avoid

2 awkwardness and judgement.

Active Listening- the receiver must also focus on what the sender is trying to imply in order
to have an effective communication and better feedback, because without the
understanding of the receiver or the listener from the speaker would be non-sense and
3 the effort to convey the message would be wasted and can also misunderstanding the
message.

No Assumption- it is also important to ask question if there are some things that are
misunderstood in order to get clarity from the message the are conveyed. The listener must
always clarify the true meaning of what the sender is trying to convey rather than making

Non-Judgmental- I think being judgmental is a natural thing most of us cannot avoid. We


certainly judge people on different aspects but we must refrain form doing this because it
is not good in building relationship in communication. We must always think of every word

5 that comes out of our minds and be sensitive with the feelings of others, we need to be
respectful and accept their thoughts either it is their opinion is disregards to our thoughts.

Value Difference- we must also keep in mind that we are all unique in different ways. Our
differences make us special form into one another. We must accept differences when it
comes to our perspective and ideas. We should appreciate them and respect their input

6 instead. Valuing their contribution of everyone whereas every opinion is heard and avoid
judging their ideas whether it is agreed or disagreed.
