Standard Operations Procedure for Air Shipments into

Casablanca, CMN, Morocco

1- OUR ROUTING INSTRUCTIONS

Our shipping instructions always appear on the same document: ROUTING ORDER. This
document gives you full details.

We ask you to contact shipper to give us status of shipment:

- Number of pieces, weight, measurements, nature of goods

- First flight available with the required airline

- Any other additional information

2- ISSUING OF DOCS

2-1 MAWB:

The MAWB should always be on a prepaid basis (except very specific instructions).

MAWB has to be consigned to:

TIMAR S.A

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTION
In accordance with the new customs requirements concerning the transmission of the
Enterprise Identifier, Royal Air Maroc Cargo would like to inform you that it is now
mandatory to introduce the ICE in the FWB messages of shipments from Morocco.

NB : The ICE must be entered in the OCI field of the FWB message.
It should be noted that these provisions apply to shipments with a final destination in
Morocco.
According to the recent instructions of the customs, the delivery of the shipments will be
done on the basis of ICE transmitted by RAM. Thus, the customs clearance

will depend on the accuracy and timeliness of the information.


In order to avoid any possible delay in the formalities or blocking of goods, the Royal Air
Maroc staff will take care of completing the missing information by charging a fee
5euro/7usd per shipment to TIMAR which will be charged to you in case of non-
compliance with this instruction.

2-2 HAWB:

Issued collect or prepaid, rates or as agreed (as per our arrangement), your HAWB must
show:

- Consignee’s full address, e-mail, phone and fax number (contact name)

- selling terms (incoterm) to avoid any confusion

- Measurements of cargo for an easier handling at destination

- Number of pieces, weight, nature of goods

GROSS WEIGHT must match between MBL / HBL & packing list, otherwise we will

Get customs’s penalties fees= 250 EUR, which will be billed to your account

1- PRE-ALERT / Original Pouch

At the day of departure of the flight at the latest, please send your pre-alert including:

- MAWB

- HAWB

- Cargo manifest

- Commercial invoice

- Packing list

- Original certificate of origin if any, export licence if any…

- Your invoice /Debit note if any.

- Any special documents (Sanitary certificate, DGR…Etc.)
