Reflection Paper On Operations Capacity

Capacity planning involves determining production capacity, workforce needs, and ensuring the supply chain can meet demand. There are three types of capacity planning: product capacity planning ensures enough products and ingredients for deliverables; workforce capacity planning ensures enough team members and work hours to complete jobs while considering employee welfare; and tool capacity planning ensures enough tools and equipment to produce products and services. Capacity planning helps assess current standing, identify bottlenecks, scale appropriately, and mitigate risks to deliver plans on time and on budget.
