DIRECTIONS FOR USE - KET 103 03

KET 103 03/- is a temperature sensor which consists of a measuring element that
gives out a current which is proportional to the absolute temperature it measures,
and a connection cable (2x0.5 mm2) with a fork contact RNV 801 103/02.

The length of the connection cable varies with the suffix of the product number.
KET 103 03/1 has a cable length of 300 mm, and KET 103 03/2 has a cable length
of 2500 mm.

The temperature sensor can be used in the temperature range of - 25 to +105 °C,
and be stored in temperatures from -45 to +125 °C.

For more detailed information, see 1301-KET 103 01 Ux.

Mount the temperature sensor as close as possible to the centre of the measuring
object, which could be a battery of a power plant, for instance.

Clean thoroughly the surface where the sensor is to be placed. Remove the grey
paper laminate from the sensor and stick the sensor on the battery.

Make sure that the connector of the supervisory equipment has the same polarity
as the temperature sensor, whose red wire is connected to the positive pole
(anode).

Plug in the fork contact of the temperature sensor into the connector provided for
the purpose on the supervisory equipment. See figure 1.

For further information, see the main documentation.
