Transportation and installation No need for laying foundation, it is integrated, ground with levelled
footing and sufficient weight-bearing capacity is enough. KODA is
transportable via trailer in one piece and just needs a crane to fit it to
it’s place. Installation and connecting to communications takes less
than a day.

Heating and cooling NILAN heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning device is used. Due
to the plate heat exchanger the ventilation solution enables up to 95%
of heat recovery from exhaust air. Extra heat is generated by air-to-air
heat pump included in the ventilation apparatus. Ventilation system
provides up to 320 m3 fresh air per hour. Features like dark kitchen
furniture and sunscreen on the glass facade work as passive heating/
cooling elements.

Equipment KODA comes with built-in electrical and sewage system ready for
connection, Danish brand NILAN’s heating and ventilation system,
water heater, ready to use bathroom and toilet, built-in LED lighting
with adjustable tone and intensity indoors and on the facade, keyless
door system, with natural finishes on surfaces, etc.
The kitchenette includes a minibar and a sink, a trashbin and kitchen
cupboards. A removable electric stove can be added.

Heat insulation The U-value for polyurethane (PUR) insulation is 0,24 W/m²K, the
U-value for VIP panels is near passive house standard 0.1 W/m²K.
The U-value of KODA’s fourply glass facade is 0.33 W/m²K. The
range of suitable outdoor temperatures is -40 to +40 Celsius / -40 to
+104 Fahrenheit
