Apple designs, manufactures and markets smartphones, personal computers, tablets, wearables and
accessories, and sells a variety of related services.
The Apple computer, also known as the Apple I, was the first product introduced in 1976. Followed by,
the Apple II.
The original Macintosh 128K was released in 1984 as Apple’s first personal computer and was
responsible for birthing the ‘Mac’ computer.
IMAC
IMac G3 was released in 1998, the iMac was the computer that made Apple a household name, and
contributed to the salvaging of the company from financial ruin in the late 1990s.
IPod
The first generation iPod was released in 2001 which can accommodate up to 1,000 songs. Different
versions of iPod include the iPod Mini and iPod Nano. Total of 350m iPods were sold till date.
IPhone
In 2007, Steve introduced iPhone for the first time to the world;
On that day Steve said that - ‘today we are re-inventing smart phone’. He never denied that smart
phones were already there in the market. But he always emphasized the ‘smart phones’ aren’t really
smart and there is a need to re-invent them.
The iPhone revolutionized the design and function of smartphones. It created the internet-connected,
portable computing age we live in now. Over the last 11 years 18 different iPhones have been launched
starting with iPhone 3GS to IPhone 12 pro. Over 2.2bn iPhones have been sold till date.
The iPad
IPad is the Company’s line of multi-purpose tablets .The first iPad was released in April 2010.
Other Apple products include Apple TV, HomePod and iPod touch.
Apple also provides services like Advertising, AppleCare, Cloud Services and Payment Services.
The Apple ecosystem is the key to Apple's success. With features like Imessage, Airdrop, Airplay,,,, Apple
aims to attract people to buy their products to create an ecosystem of devices.
Design and build quality. Apple uses precision tools and advanced, lightweight materials in the
construction of their devices. It gives the owner a reputation that's worth all the money you've spent.
And yes, no plastic.
The after service. Though most Apple products barely need service, Apple has an amazing system for
service.
