What is the difference between Biesseworks Basic and Biesseworks Advanced?

BiesseWorks Basic can run parametric programs and import files from external software in DXF and CID3 formats. However, the
following functions (present in the Advanced version) are not included:

- Parametric programming of the working area (Advanced version recommended with EPS platforms)
- Simplified programming for custom faces (Advanced version recommended when C-axis is used frequently to bore or mill sides
other than the 4 main ones)
- Automatic calculation of tool path necessary for pocketing operations.
- Text engraving using Windows font types
- Baffle for chipboard aspiration management
- 3D machining operation simulation
- Multiple panel positioning (function not yet available)
- Edgebanding

BiesseWorks Basic is an entry-level module that does not allow additional modules (e.g. CAD). The Advanced version is then required. It is also
necessary to have compatible Basic and Advanced versions installed in the machine and in the PC in the office. Their possible
combinations are listed in the table below:
