Reflection on Educational Management
The daily goals fall into place and things get accomplished much
easier. Someone who is a true leader in an organization sets the
example for others to follow. Subsequently they bring the
organization to a better place by doing so, and more or less change
the personality of the organization. Personality is defined as “a
unique combination of emotional thought and behavior patterns that
affect how a person reacts to situations and interacts with others.”
(Robbins, Decenzo, Coulter, 2001. P227) A person in a position of
management and/or a leadership must possess a personality that is
adaptable and personable. The emotional patterns of a strong leader
are positive and motivating. The leader/manager must keep the mood of
him or herself, everyone around him or her, and the organization
positive. Emotions sometimes can get the best of us, but someone in
the leader/manager role must be able to rise above each situation and
in a timely manner without showing or projecting it on others.
