Blade and Ripper Joystick controller

• The Programming Controller icon also provides buttons and a means to install or
update controller software for the following controller:
-JOYS = Blade/Leveling/Ripper Joystick

Programming to the Blade/Leveling and Ripper Controllers

Note: Clicking on the View Controller Information icon will the EST user to view what
information is in the current controller.

Download Procedure:
Select the Program Download icon. This will prompt the EST user to turn the vehicles
key switch OFF and then back on.

After the key switch is turned back on the next screen on the EST will appear as below.
(CHOOSE BLADE/LEVELING JOYSTICK PROGRAM FILE)

Note: you must see the double arrows. This


ensures that the controller is captured and ready
for downloading software.

Select the software version. Then select Open.

The next screen will show what the selected download file contains. Select OK to
continue.

Select OK to continue (selecting Cancel will allow you to select another program file).

The EST will then start downloading software into the Blade/Leveling Joystick controller.

For a brief moment after the software has been downloaded to the Blade/Leveling
Joystick a message will appear saying that it is trying to establish communications with
the Ripper Joystick.

The next screen will display (CHOOSE RIPPER JOYSTICK PROGRAM FILE)

Select the software version. Then select Open.

Once the Ripper Joystick Program file has been selected a DOWNLOAD FILE
INFORMATION screen will appear. The screen will show what the selected download
file contains.

Select OK to continue.

Select OK to continue (selecting Cancel will allow you to select another program file).

The EST will then start downloading software into the Ripper Joystick controller.

The next screen will ask you to select the Blade Leveling parameter that is desired.

Select the file that is desired followed by clicking on Open.

Note: the 1150K has 5 different parameters to choose from (AGGRESSIVE, FAST
NORMAL, PAR01, and SLOW). The 1650L will only have one parameter value to select
from.

The next screen will tell you the file download information for Blade/Leveling Ripper
Joystick.
Select OK to continue.

Select OK to continue. Selecting Cancel will allow you to select another parameter
data file.

For a brief moment a message will appear (Programming Blade/Leveling Joystick
Parameter Data…Please Wait).

The EST will indicate the following PROGRAMMING COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY.


The program file and operating data were successfully downloaded to both the
Blade/Leveling and Ripper Joystick…

Turn the vehicles ignition key to the OFF position and then back to the ON position.

Select OK

Once the key is turned off and then back on the final message will say that the
download status was SUCCESSFUL.
