Users at TVS Motor company do not normally have local administrator access due to security risks. However, users may request access by submitting a form that details the business need and agreeing to comply with restrictions in the Acceptable Use Policy. Request for Local Administrator Access

In order to reduce the likelihood of malicious software compromising TVS Motor company systems
and data, users will not normally have administrative rights on their systems. However, if there is a
business case, users may request local administrative access. This request is subject to the
restrictions outlined in the Acceptable Use Policy.

Local Administrator Access


Being given local administrator access you must read and agree to the following:

1. You will only be given local administrator access to the desktop/laptop assigned to you.

2. You must conform to the End User License Agreement (EULA) associated with any software you
add. The EULA is a legal contract between the manufacturer and/or the author and the end user of
an application. The EULA details how the software can and cannot be used.

3. You will ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to keep your system secure and free from
viruses, Trojans, Malwares, etc.

4. You will be solely responsible for all files, data, applications or any other data stored on the
systems.

5. You should not install any unauthorized or pirated software’s in your system. If you require any
software for official purpose, formal request should be raised in Intranet – Software installation
workflow.

6. IT reserves the right to amend the conditions of this service as appropriate.

7. IT may remove your administrative rights if these terms are not complied with.
