Fanuc Timeline

FANUC has a long history in North America dating back to the 1960s. Over the decades, FANUC introduced many generations of CNC systems for machine tools, starting with the 2000/3000 C Series and progressing through Systems 3, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 0, 15, 16, 18, 21, 20, 30, 31, 32 and 35. FANUC also produced servo motors under the Powermate brand and introduced both DC and AC servo motor technologies along with analog and digital control capabilities. FANUC's control systems were first introduced in Japan and then made their way to other global markets including North America.
