Mohit : Hello! Is it 23967509?
Rakesh : Yes, please. May I know who you are.
Mohit : May I talk to Rahul, please? I am his friend.
Rakesh : Oh! Sorry. In fact Rahul isn’t at home. He will be back in an hour. By the way, I am his
brother. Can I do anything for you?
Mohit : Oh. Sure. In fact I have a message for Rahul. Could you please tell him?
Rakesh : Sure, with pleasure. Tell me, please.
Mohit : Today we have planned to go to a movie at PVR, Saket in the evening.
We have booked tickets in advance. So please ask Rahul to join us at 5pm at the PVR.

Rahul,
Your friend Mohit called when you were away. He wants you to know that he has booked the
tickets for the movie you guys planned to watch. He wants you to be there at PVR, Saket at
5pm. Please don’t forget it.

QUESTION 2:

You are Rohit. This morning you received a call from Mr. Joseph, your father’s friend. Your father was
on his morning walk. Mr. Joseph asked you to please convey to your father that he was having fever.
He was not in position to go to the office today. He has asked your father to inform the Managing
Director about it.

1st August,2021.          8:00 a.m.

Dear Father,                                                                                                                                     

This morning, Mr. Joseph had called upon you when you were out on morning walk. In fact he
wanted a favour from you. He has left a message for you that he won’t go to office today. He is
having fever. He has requested you to inform the Managing Director on his behalf and get the
leave granted for him. He will submit the leave application soon.
