User Guide –How to upload documents for publishing on OCHA

field sites

1. As the new library is set up in Drupal 7, first you must log in.
2. Go to unocha.org/user
3. Use the same credentials you are now using to edit your website
(e.g. username: ocha_countryname / password: ocha1234countryname)

4. After logging in, you will be directed to a dashboard page. Click on the Document
Management link

5. The landing page of the library allows you to upload documents, and filter them by country
or region for ease of reference.
6. To upload a new document, click on Add Document:

You will be prompted to fill out a document upload form.

7. Fill out all the necessary fields – particularly TITLE, COUNTRY AND REGION.
8. You will be prompted to browse and select the document you want to upload.
9. Click save.
10. Now you can grab the document link and post on your site. Simply right click on the
document, select copy link location and paste in as necessary.

TIP: Depending on the browser you are using, the options could read differently:

1. Copy link location (Firefox) or


2. Copy link address (Crome)

NOTE: This Document Management feature is a temporary solution until all OCHA field sites are
developed in Drupal 7. Once that is completed, the document upload option is one of the features
already integrated in the new sites.
