Yahoo It is founded in 1994 by Jerry Wang and David Filo, graduate
students at Stanford University in California. It is an internet
portal that incorporates a search engine and a directory of
World Wide Web sites organized in a hierarchy of topic
categories.
Friendster Friendster was created in 2002 by Peter Chin, Jonathan
Abrams and Dave Lee. It is a formerly popular social
networking site that many cite as being one of the original
social networks, is littered with numerous stories of trump.
Wordpress Wordpress was launched on May 27, 2003. It is the most
popular content management system on the planet.
WhatsApp WhatsApp application developed by Brian Acton and John Kim,
both former employees of Yahoo in 2009. It is a cross-platform
instant messaging application that allows iPhone, BlackBerry,
Android, Windows Phone, Nokia Smartphone users to
exchange text, image, video and audio messages for free.
Viber Initially launched in iPhone on December 2, 2010. Viber is a
calling and messaging app that connects people—no matter
who they are, or where they’re from.
Zoom The company launched in 2011 when Yuan left Cisco as a
founding engineer on its WebEx video platform, one of the
Zoom’s rivals. In April 2019, Zoom went public and fared better
than splashier tech companies. It is a mobile app that allows
users to meet online, with or without video.
WeChat Tencent launched an instant messaging app in early 2011.
WeChat is China’s most popular messaging app.
Canvass Launched in 2011. It is a learning platform that amplifies your
awesomeness. It is founded by Brian Whitmer and Devlin
Daley. Canvass is a course management system that supports
online learning and teaching.
Telegram Launched in 2013 by the brother Nikolai and Pavel Durov.
Telegram is a multi-platform messaging service and may be
among the most popular messaging services in the world.
Google meet Introduced in 2017. It is previously named Google Hangouts
Meet, is Google’s premium video conferencing software,
provided as a part of G Suite.
