Nonprofit medical mission trip to Can Tho, Vietnam: Surgical correction for underprivileged children with extensive and severe orthopedic lower leg deformities, including post polio deformities, congenital defects, and Cerebral Palsy. Prior to the mission, I helped raise funds and gather supplies. During mission, I performed patient screenings and assisted in complex reconstructive surgeries treating various foot and ankle pathology. Team captain and performer for UCLA’s award-winning Indian dance ensemble, incorporating styles of dance including hip hop, modern, jazz, and classical styles. Winner of “MVP” in Texas Bhangra Showdown competition in 2009. UCLA National Bruin Bhangra Dance Competition Director of Bruin Bhangra, the largest intercollegiate Indian dance competition on the west coast; managed venue selection, ticket sales, publicity, sound, lighting, and stage direction. The event showcases 10-12 routines from around the United States with over 200 dancers, attracting an audience of over 3000 annually.
