LEICA TS06/09 INSTRUCTIONS

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING STAKEOUT Function (FOR LEICA TS06 AND TS09)

First of all, set up your instrument position using either “Ori with coordinates” or the “Resection”
Then;

• Select “Programs”
• Choose the “change page” button until you come to “stakeout”
• Select the stakeout function
• Top of the screen should say “Stakeout ½”
• F4 Cont

To measure the Coordinates of a point:

• F4, Down arrow symbol, until you see EDM


• F1 EDM
• Select the correct prism or tape type
• F3 Cont
• Press the “page” button until you have East, North, Height display (the top of the screen
should say “stakeout 4/4). Make sure it is not the E, N, H page.
• To measure the coordinates without recording to the memory, press F2 Dist.

To set out a given point in the correct location in the ground:

• F4, down arrow until you see EDM


• F1 EDM
• Select the correct prism or tape type
• F3 Cont
• Press the “page” button until you have East, North, height display (the top of the screen
should say “Stakeout 4/4). Make sure it is not the E, N, H page.
• To measure the coordinates without recording to the memory, press F2 Dist
• To record the coordinates into the memory, press F1 Meas.
