Instructions
Create a Logical Data Model in Third Normal Form using ERDPlus to complete the assignment below. Export the diagram as a .PNG and place it in a
document and the answers to the questions below. Submit your file on Blackboard by the due date.

Any questions regarding the assignment should be directed to your professor and not your classmates. This is an individual assignment and should
be completed individually by you without outside assistance. UT’s Academic integrity policy applies to this assignment, and I reserve the right to ask
you to explain your normalization process and your model to me before assigning a grade.

Scenario
Palm Harbor Spa offers spa services and needs your help to evaluate its data records (see the Booked Service Records below). The Spa uses the
table to track its customer bookings, booked spa services, and technicians assigned to perform them.

Assignment
1) Examine the data below to determine if its design ensures high data quality. (40%)

a) Report any Normal Form violations.

b) Identify possible primary keys.

c) Identify possible secondary keys.

2) Create a Logical Data Model in Third Normal Form (3NF) for the data below using ERDPlus. (50%)

a) Create the necessary entities with appropriate attributes; ensure an attribute is the Primary Key.

b) Create attributes, as needed, ensuring it is a Foreign Key.

c) Add any additional attributes, if needed.

d) Entities, Relations, and Attributes must meet proper design criteria, e.g., naming conventions are met, related entities have Primary and
Foreign Keys.

3) Examine and ensure data quality. (10%)

a) Identify any data inconsistencies in the original table.
