Trail and Execution of Rizal

The Trial of Rizal is the most famous in history in the Philippines, not because he is our

National Hero, but also what is the reason he died. He didn’t died because he is protecting

himself or his family, he died because he protect all the Filipinos. This Trial of Rizal is really a

mistrial. It was a big joke from the very start and it was completely trash if I would describe it

that I want to puke, because as I said he died because he protects us. The cruelty enrages me so

m
much that I can compare those Spanish authorities at that time to wild animals possessed by evil.

They were way too much and hate is not enough to describe it in words how I feel about them.

Those Spaniards really get to my nerves, because if they didn’t killed Rizal I think he will going

to free our country with their hands, he will still write many poems that in this day it will inspires

us, but Rizal died because of nothing.

When Rizal was deported to Dapitan in July 1892, despite his denial and insistent

demand for investigation in accordance with the due process of law, he was immediately placed

under arrest and escorted to Fort Santiago without the benefit of a trial and the decree and

charges were kept secret from him.

Barcelona and the same day re-embarked for Manila. Arrived in Singapore, some of his friends

tries rescue him for a Habeas Corpus but they didn’t success in helping Rizal. It clearly seen that
sh

the Spaniards really want to execute Rizal because they didn’t follow the true process of the law

and also the writ of habeas corpus was denied when he was illegally detained in a ship from

Singapore.

He was immediately placed in Fort Santiago upon his arrival in Manila and then he was

charged with Treason, sedition and forming illegal societies, the prosecution said that through his

writings and novels he attack the Spaniards in that case they decided that he should be put to

military court. Rizal was a civilian but was tried by a military court where civilian and church

interference was not allowed. It was clear that they really just want Rizal to put him in the death,

they really keep it private, so that some people will not argue of the trial of Rizla, because they

know that some people will fight for Rizal.

In continuing the trial his case was judged, they considered him guilty before the actual

Rizal is one of the many Filipinos that shows mistrial is really popular in that days,

want you will be death. Like what happened to Rizal he just stated the facts of what is happening

in our country through his writings.

In my reflection since the GOMBURZA and Rizal died because of injustice, I could say

that issue is still in our system and it is impossible to remove because if you ask me I think it

become installed to our culture already. It is true that “history repeats itself” even though we are

not free from the Colonization, it still feels like we are Colonize, we are colonized with our

failed system.
