Chalice Connection 4-28-11

Rev. Chris Shorow is preparing for a sabbatical from May 22 to early September funded by a Lilly Endowment grant. He will spend time in Florence, Italy with his family. The church will also undergo a renewal process during this time led by a Renewal Task Force. In June, Sunday services will feature "Table Conversations" where congregants can share stories. This is meant to replenish the congregation during the minister's absence and focus on church strengths. Rev. Shorow hopes to learn about Sabbath and letting go during his time away before sharing insights with the congregation in the fall.
