Year 2 Month 3: Ethics

Instructions: As you develop as a professional during your time in Work Based Learning,
one hope is that you will develop into a successful, ethical employee who can thrive in
the work place. Ethics are an integral part to success in the workplace and in your
personal life. For this assignment, you will follow the steps below to reflect on what
ethics means to you and how you will implement ethics in your future. Type your
responses in the space provided:

Step 1: Take time to research ethics. In 3-5 sentences, describe what ethics means to you
and how you could show ethical behavior in your personal and professional life.

- To me ethics is to ability to see and make the difference between good and bad
decisions. You have to discipline yourself and make moral decsions. Presenting this in
your work place in crucial. In my work place I show ethical behavior in ways that I
interact with other students. While I may personally know them, I have to mkae morally
good decisions when discussing with other stduents. I also have to make the right and
moral decision when a students tells me of an injury but tells me not to discuss it with my
Athlectic Trainer. Morally, I have to look past their request and discuss the injury with my
boss in the case that it may be a really big deal.
