1. Why do you think that a future elementary teacher like you should understand and study

the “Teaching of English Language”?

I think that a future elementary teacher like me should understand and study the “Teaching of English
Language” because as soon to be teacher, you cannot teach what you don’t know or have. You make
sure that you have the knowledge and skills for English Language. To impart my knowledge to my
students so they can learn and use English Language efficiently. And besides, learning English Language
is beneficial in teaching and learning because it is widely recognized language and it is an effective way
to communicate to the world.

2. For you, is there any importance of understanding the different roles of a teacher?

Defend your answer.

Yes, there is an importance of understanding the different roles of a teacher. Teachers are the backbone
of the society and they are responsible for shaping a child's future, making him/her a better human
being. They have diverse roles because they are one who can contribute to student’s success. They
need to be empowered to recognize and value what children learn from their home, social and cultural
environment and to create opportunities for children to discover, learn and develop.
