Q1. With respect to Europe’s Enlightenment (Renaissance, Age of


Enlightenment) write about the old views and new views.

ANSWER

Renaissance occurred before the Enlightenment comes it means rebirth. The Renaissance is
similar with advances in humanism, architecture and a world economy, while the Enlightenment
is similar with the scientific method, industrialization and rationality.

Government old views

In the early century in Europe governed by king and queen. The religious important is more at
that time they force people if they don’t accept that. For example, if the government is in hand of
Christian, they enforce people to accept that religion by forcing them or hurting them. They
don’t give rights or freedom to peoples. In fact, at that time government was only given to king
or queen family without getting elected. At that time there was a war situation.

Government New views

New View is governance power come from governed from the consent of the people. Today
there is a big change in government point of view. People understand that getting right or
freedom by selecting there on leader will help everyone for a peace, freedom, without forcing.

Slavery and women old views

In the old-time slavery is so much there like in old time ruler like king or queen treated peoples
likes slaves. Even in women point of view at that time there was no concept of women rights.
Equality was not there even at that time there was no respect for women. Ruler uses women even
forcefully.

New Views

Todays the things are changed in 21st century rights are most important for everyone. Slavery
concept fully changed to machines in fact today women are treated equal to men in every field.
education of women is given Now so that women will be educated and can be independent.

Q2. What is the Significance of History to a researcher and a professional?

ANSWER

History is really important because without history we as a society can’t improve. History is
important because we can learn from the past and do better in future. Significance of history to a
researcher means historical research it helps us to understand the choices we have as we face our
own problems today. Historical research is important because we people want to know
things. For Example, if I talk about the religion in today century if someone is Hindu the person
can research the religion that his religion is really right on wrong, he can convert his religion
through research of past through online. Historical research also tells us about the environment
changes that how the people faced the problem in past how they manage to overcome that issue
in past. Today people can learn from that past and do better with science technology in present
and future.

By studying history individual person can become a professional person because he can adapt
knowledge from the past like skills and update that skills in future and do better in future. For
example in business point of view if anyone wants to become a professional and good business
man they need to take quick decision in business that decision help can be taken from past and it
help in current time with some innovation in that idea.
