The project event registration manages and maintains the records of student and events of a
particular institution. Brain Bro is an institution which has 173 staffs .This institution
provides their staffs to CBSE schools.
The staffs should conduct some events for the students. As the staffs have maintained only
manual records the founder of the institution asked me to do web application for event
management system for his institution.
This software has been made in a user friendly interface to add, delete the entries of students
and handle all the events easily.
Event registration is managing the events and participants. It will simplifies the task and
reduce the paper work.
This project has been made in a user friendly interface, so that normal person also can add,
delete, update the entries and handle all the events and registration easily.
The functions of the system will be easily and then functions of the system will be easily
accessed by administrators, academics, students and applicants.
2. SYSTEM STUDY
The existing system is done manual. They are currently maintaining their records as
usually. So the current system is not computerized and it has many drawbacks
The main problem with the day to day maintenance of the registration system is that
more employees are involved on the maintenance work which can by a single computer.
In the manual system we need to maintain all the records in papers. Later it leads to
confusion.
2.1.1 DRAWBACKS :
The system, which proposed system, now computerizes all the details that are maintained
manually. The aim of proposed systems is the overcome the difficulties of the existing
system.
In our proposed system we have the provision for adding the details of the participants By
themselves. So the overhead of the event authorities and the staff is become less. Another
advantage of the system is that it is very easy to edit the details of the student and delete a
student when it found unnecessary. The full details of the event are added in the database and
so students can also view the list of events whenever they want..
2.2.1 ADVANTAGES
The maintain function of the system is to prepare reports for easy view.
Security is assured.
Fiver modules are going to use in this project. Each module is constructed with (UI) user
interface in such way that they interact more with the users who are using the software.
Students shall able to load the login module in the internet browser. The login module shall
support the user to log in the system. The login panel shall contain fields for user name and
password. The password field shall be masked with symbols when the user types. It shall
also contains a button labelled as login. When the user clicks on login button the user name
and password will be verified by database administrator and then only the registered
participants will be able to login the system.
After successful login, participants shall be able to continue navigating through the website
and view events detailed information. After successful login, students shall be able to update
and maintain their profile, such as changing password and personal details
This module helps us to get data about function and which school is conducting function,
date, time, function type, ect,. The function details like function-id, function-name, school,
date, venue with add, update, delete, search, save and close options.
3.3 EVENT MODULE
The students who are participating in any events should fill the details .This module consists
of filed like Event id, Event organizer name, Event name and the users can able to perform
the delete, search, update the details in this module. After entering the details the users
should click the generate id button to generate the event id and click the save button to save
the details. In this module the event details like event-ID, function-name, event-name with
adds, update, delete, search, save and close options will be given to the database.
Instruction module is meant for the organizer(teacher)who is going to conduct the function.
In instruction box the organizer can give the instructions according to the instruction
numbers. Updating, deleting, saving can also be performed here. This instruction module
helps to include the rules and regulations of the corresponding event and function. The
instruction has some fields like event-ID, function-name, event-name, instruction with adds,
Participant module is for the students who are participating in the events. participant module
consists of event organizer name, event id, event name, participant id, participant name,
participant details, school name, class, section, address, contact number, mail id. Like other
modules his module also contains update, delete, save options.
Admin can maintain the fee details of each and every student
