(For students of SY-L.L.B - Semester 4 – 2019-2020)

As per recent circular issued by the University of Mumbai, No. DB0EE/1CF/2020-21/06, dated
05/07/2021, SDSM LAW COLLEGE, PALGHAR is conducting ‘Assignment Based Evaluation' (ABE)
process for First Half, academic year 2019-2020, 'Semester 4' of the three-year L.L.B curriculum.

Accordingly, all SY-L.L.B students ('Semester 4' of the academic year 2019-2020) are hereby
being informed that they have to complete the ‘Assignment Based Evaluation’ (ABE), and pass
that particular subject in order to complete the ‘Semester 4’ examination process.

There will be two assignments for each subject as part of the ‘Assignment Based Evaluation’
(ABE) process. The topics of assignment for each subject shall be shared by the concerned
faculty-member, on or before 10 July, 2021.

The date of submission, format of submission, and other pertinent information about the
assignments are as under -
Submission guidelines for assignments –
• Submit scan assignments as hand-written embedded in a DOC or PDF file, or a
computer-typed DOC or PDF file.
• Each assignment shall be at least 1500 words in length
• Each assignment shall carry 25 marks, and the score obtained in both assignments shall
be extrapolated to the scale of 100
• Submit the two assignments for each subject in a single DOC file, by one email, to the
email-address of the concerned faculty
• Positively name the submission file in the following manner –
“Topic_SY_Sem4_2019-2020_Seat Number” (example – for topic ‘Jurisprudence’ and
Seat Number ‘5’, submission DOC/PDF shall be named “Jurisprudence_SY_Sem4_2019-
2020_5”)
• Positively mention in the Subject line of email the following -
“Topic_SY_Sem4_2019-2020_Seat Number”(example – for topic ‘Jurisprudence’ and
Seat Number ‘5’, Subject of email shall read “Jurisprudence_SY_Sem4_2019-2020_5”)

Notes -
• Submission of assignments is compulsory for all SY, Semester 4, academic year of 2019-
2020 students
• Assignments must be submitted on or before 31 July 2021, as attachments to email, to
the email address of the concerned subject teacher, as per list given below
