Subject: Online Classes Requirements Progress

Since the first semester of year 2021-2022 is coming to an end the

compiling and gathering of online class requirements is needed for the
students to pass the first semester. This report includes the completed
requirements, the assigned tasks to be done and problems encountered
along the way.

COMPLETED REQUIREMENTS

Here are some things that students are now off the hook, with the hard work
and determination the students will get through.

Synchronous Class
Once a week students meet their teachers through ClassIn to discuss the
topics, clarify information, questions, comments, and reactions on particular
topics related to the course content. Last week was also the last time that
teachers and students meet in ClassIn to present the topics and getting
ready the students for final exam.

Oral Participation
In a discussion students are encouraged interacting with teachers and with
that, the teacher gave the student plus points as a reward.

Quizzes, Seatworks and Assignments

These are written output taken up by students in their lms. Teachers use
quizzes, seatworks and assignments to figure out what the students know
and don't know. The students will then have a better idea of how well they
understand the topic, thereby inspiring them to study more and assisting
them in successfully allocating their study time by focusing on the
information that need further practice.

SCHEDULED REQUIREMENTS

These are the remaining tasks to accomplish the first semester. These
requirements will determine the understanding and abilities of the students.
Exam
Students are given final examinations at the end of a course to assess what
they have learned over the course of the semester. Final Exam is scheduled
to be on 3rd week of December, thus students need to prepare a lot because
it will be their major exam.

Projects
Before the end of semester most teachers have assigned projects before
ending the course like video presentation, eScrapbook and so much more.
Doing projects allow students to display and convey their understanding in a
variety of ways. Doing projects also personalizes learning since it focuses on
how a student processes and displays the knowledge and skills they have
gained.

PROBLEMS/CHALLENGES

There are several issues now that we have unexpectedly switched from
traditional to online classes. One of them is our extremely poor internet
connection, which may not be enough for rural areas. The cost of data
packages is expensive. Not everyone can afford a high-speed internet
package that might cost thousands of pesos, in this pandemic; everyone is
fighting to make ends meet. It's difficult to balance education with
household costs. Also, not every student owns a phone or only rely to their
phone that one’s it will be broken they don’t have any device or gadget to
use.
