IT MEANS THAT
EXPLANATION: motivation is used to describe why a person
does something. It is the driving force behind human actions.
This is the reason why people continue or terminate a certain
behavior. Motivation is about an unmet need that we want to
satisfy, it’s about a goal that we want to fulfill.

There are two types of motivation which are the Intrinsic and
Extrinsic Motivation.

IT MEANS THAT

EXPLAIN : Intrinsic motivation is doing of an activity for its


inherent satisfaction rather than for some separable
consequence. When intrinsically motivated, a person is moved
to act for the fun or challenge entailed rather than because of
external products, pressures, or rewards
SLIDE 5

EXPLAIN: So in the example it satated their, that the student


read because of the satisfaction of her curiosity which means
he/she is intrinsically motivated because the motivation that he
hold on to came from internal and that internal motivation made
him/her intrinsically motivated
