Ano ang Republic Act 1425?

Ang Republic Act 1425, o ang tinatawag na Rizal Law, ay ang batas na nagdidikta sa lahat ng mga

paaralan sa buong Pilipinas na magbigay ng mga asignatura at kurso tungkol sa buhay at mga

gawa ni Jose Rizal. Ang buong titulo ng batas na ito ay An Act to Include in the Curricula of All

Public and Private Schools, Colleges and Universities Courses On the Life, Works and Writings of
Jose Rizal, Particularly His Novels Noli Me Tangere
Tangere and El Filibusterismo, Authorizing the Printing

and Distribution Thereof, and for Other Purposes.

Inaprubahan ito noong Hunyo 12, 1596 at inilatha sa Official Gazette, Vol. 52, No. 6, p. 2971
