BSRT 1-B
Directions: The following are tough, often pretentious questions. Figure out each question’s
real meaning and fire back a crisp, insightful answer. Select only 5 questions and write your answer on
the blanks after the list.
● What were your most memorable high school experiences? What did you learn from them?
Directions: Write the chosen question first to be followed by your answer.
Answer: I'm Ira Jhoy Caparas Undik, and people do call me Joy. I'm 19 years old who loves myself very
much. I'm the third child in the family, and I'm proud to say that I am their "happy pill" because I always
joke around with them. It is because I want to see each person around me with a smile on their faces,
because we don't know if the person is having a good or bad day. I'm a sporty person. I love playing
games like softball, basketball, and etc. I've been a varsity player since I was in 5th grade until I
graduated high school. I was also an honor student back then. Since both of my parents were players,
and my friends were also sports-minded, I became in love with sports. I also like to ride a motorcycle
and also help other people with their work. I'm also the type of person who is kind to anyone. I even
respect people, even though I know what they are doing behind my back. I also can't say no to people
except for the bad doings, and because of that, I've suffered a lot. I think this is because I am a good-
hearted person.
2. Question: How would you define success?
Answer: I define success in a very simple way. For me, success is defined by what you accomplish or
achieve in life. A simple achievement in life can be seen as a success. For example, facing your
weaknesses and achieving your weaknesses is already a success for me, as you wanted to succeed in
that aspect. I define success by this, because in my view, in life, if you have succeeded in life, even
though it is small, you must appreciate it, because many people are facing that problem and only a few
of them can achieve it.
Answer: As a young girl who has a lot of dreams in life, as a student, I really tried to do my very best for
my studies as well. I gave myself enough time to study and always completed my assigned tasks. I'm the
type of student who just wants to finish my studies as I know that this will lead me to success, because
we all know how important education is in our lives.
Answer: As a student and a child of our parents, it is hard for us sometimes to manage our time,
because each of us has a different role as a student and a child in our own house. But in my situation, if I
do have free time, I always take that opportunity to help the elderly in our house with their work or help
my brother and my niece do their modules. And for myself, I always do things like listen to music in my
room. I do that because sometimes listening to music helps me remove my stress and stops me from
thinking about some negative situations.
5. Question: What are you most memorable high school experiences? What did you learn from them?
Answer: During my high school days, the most memorable thing that happened to me was becoming
the team captain of the softball team in our school and becoming a top student. It was the most
memorable experience for me, because it gave me a chance to learn about myself, how to handle a
situation as a team captain, how to be a good student, and more. It also helps me manage my roles and
time as a student and a player. That experience taught me what qualities a team captain should possess
and how to manage my time as a student as well. It also taught me how important communication is,
and how to be a great role model for the younger ones, because as a player and a top student, many
people will look at you and follow your steps. Because my family, friends, and God were there to witness
it, I will never forget this precious and memorable moment of my life.
