1. Install bearing (10) and retaining ring (11). Use Tooling (F) in order to install seal (12). Install retaining ring
(13) .

2. Use Tooling (E) in order to protect the seal.

3. Attach a suitable lifting device and Tooling (D) in order to support the rear of front track roller frame (9).
The weight of front track roller frame (9) is approximately 1565 kg (3450 lb). Install front track roller frame
(9) until the suitable lifting device contacts rear track roller frame (2). Remove the suitable lifting device.

4. Position a chain around the idler. Attach the chain to the rear track roller frame and to Tooling (D). Remove
Tooling (E). Use Tooling (D) and install front track roller frame (9) into rear track roller frame (2) .

5. Install guide assembly (8) on the outside of rear track roller frame (2) .

Note: Check the O-ring seal for wear or for damage. If necessary, replace the O-ring seal.

6. Install O-ring seal (6) on cover (5). Install cover (5). Install bolts (4). Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 215 ± 40
N·m (159 ± 30 lb ft).

7. Repeat Steps 5 and 6 for the inside of rear track roller frame (2) .

8. Connect track (3). Raise the blade and remove Tooling (B). Remove Tooling (A). Remove the suitable
cribbing.

9. Fill the recoil spring compartment with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Recoil Spring
Compartment Oil Level - Check" and Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Capacities (Refill)".

10. Tighten the track. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Track - Check/Adjust".
