What is Lakeville Robotics?
Lakeville Robotics is an independent, non profit, 501(c)(3) organization
dedicated to promoting and supporting FIRST Robotics programs in Lakeville.
❏ Advocate for support from the school district and community.
❏ Tax ID # for tax exempt donations
❏ Provide education for students, coaches, and mentors
❏ Purchase and provide common items beneficial to multiple teams
❏ Publicize FIRST Robotics programs in the community

Why host a Tournament?

❏ Allows Lakeville FLL & FTC teams to compete locally


❏ Showcases robotics programs in Lakeville
❏ Gives our local FTC & FRC teams the opportunity to perform outreach to
the community and other teams
❏ Introduces robotics to children, adults, teachers, administration, city
leaders

❏ Saturday 11/23 Competition 6:30am~8:00pm
❏ Sunday 11/24 Competition and tear down 6:30am-8:00pm

What: Maintain Sign Up Genius (already created). Report on volunteer needs. Send emails
to FTC & FRC coaches, NHS, AVID, etc. to solicit volunteers for Fri-Sun slots.
Where: Sign Up Genius & Email, D204 Conference Room
When: now through 11/24. At least one volunteer coordinator on site during Fri, Sat, Sun to
check in volunteers and track hours.

4 Concession coordinators
What: Coordinate concessions food and concessions volunteers prior to and days of
tournament.
Where: First floor - LSHS Commons, kitchen
When: now through 11/24
Menu planning, ordering, buying prior to tournament.
Coordinating food load in on Friday and stocking/replenishing and clean up on
Saturday/Sunday.
Who:

What: Coordinate food for volunteers and judges.
